I feel as though I have finally lost control of everything. At Jacks feast today, he invited everyone to join his tribe and almost everyone did. Later in the night we all started to dance and chant but then we saw a shadowy figure so we all thought it was the beast. In our excitement, we attacked the beast and killed it but then we realized that we didn’t kill the beast, we killed Simon.
Next day, I find out that Jack is acting like a dictator and ordering people around and punishing them for no reason. This night Jack and his tribe storm or camp and beat us up and took Piggy’s glasses.

Ralph, clearly you are the true leader of the group...we just have to wait for the other boys to realize. Jack is just being rebellious against you and doesn't want to follow the "rules" anymore.
ReplyDeleteAs for Simon, its sad what happened to him but I KNOW i had nothing to do with it. Obviously Jack is feeling a little guilty and trying to make everyone else feel horrible by punishing them. Either way, all i want are my glasses. Jack can do whatever he wants with his tribe so long as i get my glasses back..I JUST WANT TO SEE! We should go talk to Jack and try to get my glasses back. I know that he doesn't want them to start a signal fire, all he cares about is his feast. Lets see how things go. I just hope you wont leave me alone, Ralph.
